The artist utilizes a self-developed shape and line vocabulary for these works while experimenting with the degree of literal “cubism”. The flat but colorful shapes and geometric treatment of the faces yield a quizzical expression or a direct gaze.

The artist intends the works to remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. Medium is oil and sometimes charcoal or graphite on canvas.
